Sigh

I stood up for what I believe and it seems to have cost me a very dear friend and mentor.  It makes me very sad.  Note to self:  when people say you can talk about ANYTHING, they never ever mean it.  When you take them at their word, you just end up with a mess.  I have learned this lesson before and didn’t retain it.  I’m not saying I would have done differently necessarily, but I should have stopped and counted the cost.
